First Term Exam - Contents

Your 1st term exam will contain:

1) A reading comprehension activity related to The Story of Earth Part 1 and Part 2.
2) A vocabulary activity related to The Story of Earth Part 1 and Part 2.
3) A summary writing activity in the simple present.
4) Use of the simple present and the present progressive:
   - Structure
   - Spelling rules
   - Time expressions
5) Rosetta Sone:
   - Possessive adjectives (my, your, our, their, his, her, its)
   - WH- questions
6) A listening exercise

Please remember that the activities that you do during these days will be graded and that their average will be one of the 5 grades of P3, so:
  • It is important to bring all the necessary materials according to the planning. Remember to bring your own pairs of scissors, glue, etc.
  • You will work in pairs and the contents of your work and your partner's should be the same but each member of the pair will have to hand in your individual work.
  • You shoukd carry out and finish the work within the given time. The activities that you will do during these days should be finished in the class. You cannot take the home.

Next Monday I will collect your notebooks to review them.

Make sure that your notebooks are:
1. Complete: They contain everything we have done in class so far. I will review some of the activities that we have done in class and The Story of Earth Part 2 summary (hand activity).
2. Organized: You have drawn the first pages (Language and Science) and margins; you have copied the "Date"; "Topic" and "Objective" for each class.
3. Clean

Rosetta Stone Week 5 - P3

Please remember that for Sunday, January10th, you should complete 22,5 hours of work (total) in Rosetta Stone, 100% of progress in Level 1 and 13% of progress in Level 2.

This means that you have to finish all Unit 1, 2, 3 and 4 activities and all the Adaptive Recalls of Level 1 and all the activities from Unit 1 - Lección Principal until Lección 3 - Vocabulario of Level 2.

Remember that this is the last week of this period!

Be very honest to your self and think about important things you want for 2016!

1) Cover page drawing.
2) Write about something special that happened to you in 2015.
3) Something bad / sad / negative that you have in your hands and that you would like to change about 2015.
4) Something that you would really want for 2016.
5) Write an important / special commitment for 2016.
6) Rest of the pages: decorate the rest of your book with more resolutions or wishes for 2016. You can add drawings or pictures.
